Current practices: Shout out to my tap dance teachers whose classes have inspired me to integrate tap dancing into my contemporary dance aesthetic- shoes and no shoes. Rhythm tap is teaching me about music and history. Most noteworthy inspirers are: Tonya Kay, Danny Nielsen, Mike Ward, Zach Kostersky, Zach Burke, Jennifer Bishop, Meghan Anderson, Peggy Giegenbracht, Sarah Riech and the OG - Jim Hibbard.

​Shout out to fellow independent dance artists who are cultivating their practice and contributing to dance's deep knowledge and evolution by sharing their expertise with others. I have had so many influential teachers over my 40+ years of dancing. I have also sought out teachers to learn from and I continue to learn new skills from different genres. I practice new and familiar techniques and styles. All of this development informs and expands my performance, choreography, teaching and theatre-goings.
